Choose a font, colors, outline thickness, alignment, capitalization, and text size (4%–25% of the image’s shorter side). Automatic fitting wraps long text to up to three lines and shrinks it as needed, a very long word stays on one line. Drag text in the preview. Bar text stays centered, and changing alignment resets dragged positions.

Download the meme as JPG, PNG, or WebP, or keep Same as original. JPG, PNG, and WebP inputs default to their original format, GIF, AVIF, and BMP default to PNG.

Use Bars top and bottom for a classic meme. For bar layouts, choose white or black bars. Text color is tied to the bar color, black on white or white on black, without an outline. Text on image lets you place and drag captions over the picture. PNG or WebP preserves transparency in this layout. Bar layouts fill transparency with bar color, JPG uses the background color, white by default.

Supported inputs are JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, and BMP. Animated GIF and WebP use only the first frame, and output is not animated. Images above 150 megapixels are rejected, iPhone and iPad have a canvas limit of about 16.7 megapixels. Bars add height, so the result may be taller than the original.
