Crop Image

Open an image in JPG, PNG, or WebP format. The crop box starts centered over the image. Drag it to change its position, or use its eight handles to resize it. The selected width and height appear as “Selection: W × H px.” You can also enter the crop box width and height in pixels, then adjust Position X and Position Y to place it precisely. The box stays within the source image.

Choose Free for a crop you can size without a fixed ratio, Original to match the source image’s ratio, or a preset such as 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, or 5:4. Custom lets you enter a ratio. When you change the ratio, the crop box refits to the largest size that fits around its current center. Cropping does not resample or enlarge the image, so the output dimensions match the selected pixel dimensions and cannot exceed the source image.

The output format defaults to the original. You can choose JPG, PNG, or WebP in More options. Transparency is retained when saving as PNG or WebP. If you save a transparent image as JPG, transparent areas are filled with a background color, white by default. JPG and WebP output also offer a quality setting.

Cropping and encoding happen in your browser, and the image is not uploaded. No registration is needed, and no watermark is added. The tool handles one image at a time, with no batch cropping. Animated WebP and APNG use only their first frame. GIF, HEIC, and other input formats are not accepted.

Images above the 150-megapixel browser canvas limit are rejected. There is no file-size limit or daily quota, though the canvas limit may be lower on some devices, about 16.7 megapixels on iPhone or iPad. The result does not retain EXIF, GPS, XMP, or embedded color-profile metadata. Phone-photo orientation is applied before cropping, so the image is cropped as displayed.
