HEIC to JPG

Select HEIC or HEIF files to begin. The tool creates optimized, progressive JPG files only. You can convert a batch, and the same settings apply to every file.

Set JPG quality from 1% to 100%. The default is 90%. EXIF metadata, including camera information and date, is kept by default. Turn metadata off to omit it, or enable Remove location (GPS) to keep other metadata without GPS. The color profile is always embedded, and photo orientation is applied to the pixels. XMP is not written.

For multi-image HEIC files, converting every image is off by default, so only the primary image is converted. Turn it on to create a separate JPG for each image. Since JPG does not support transparency, transparent areas are filled with the selected background color, white by default.

Download converted JPGs individually or together in a ZIP. Each file is processed independently, so an error with one damaged file will not stop the others.

Guests can convert up to 10 files at a time, each up to 50 MB and 100 megapixels. Registered users can convert up to 30 files on the page, with a 100 MB per-file and 200-megapixel limit. Up to two guest jobs or four registered-user jobs can run in parallel.

This tool uses temporary server processing, so originals are uploaded and deleted after processing. JPG results remain available for one hour for guests or 24 hours for registered users, then are deleted. Download links work only in the browser or account that created the job.

Conversion is free, requires no registration, and adds no watermark. You might remove GPS data before sharing photos, or convert every image in a multi-image HEIC file. The Live Photo video portion is not converted.
