Choose Recommended, Strong, Lossless, Custom quality, or Target size. Recommended: JPG/WebP 75, PNG palettes up to 256 colors. Strong: JPG 55, WebP 50, PNG palettes up to 128 colors. Lossless optimizes PNG without reducing colors, uses lossless WebP, and leaves JPG unchanged.
Set Custom quality from 1 to 100 percent, for PNG, this sets palette size. Target size accepts KB or MB and seeks the highest fitting JPG/WebP quality or largest PNG palette. If it cannot meet the target, the smallest result is returned with a notice.
Keep the original format or choose JPG, PNG, or WebP under More options. Choose a background color for transparent areas saved as JPG. Process files, then download individually or as a ZIP.
Compression changes file size, not dimensions, savings and appearance depend on the image and settings. Target-size requests range from 1 to 51,200 KB or MB, with a 1 KB minimum effective target.
Recommended: JPG/WebP quality 75 and PNG palettes up to 256 colors, Strong: JPG 55, WebP 50, palettes up to 128. Custom quality controls PNG palette size, lower percentages mean smaller palettes. Target size seeks the highest fitting quality or palette, but may not reach the requested size.
PNG and WebP preserve transparency, JPG fills transparent areas with the selected background color, white by default. Animated WebP uses only its first frame.
EXIF and GPS metadata are removed by default. Turn off Remove metadata to keep JPG EXIF. JPG keeps its color profile, PNG copies only the ICC profile regardless of the setting, WebP has neither metadata nor a color profile.

FAQ
Which image formats can I compress?
You can compress JPG, PNG, and WebP files. GIF, HEIC, AVIF, SVG, TIFF, and BMP files are not accepted. For animated WebP, only the first frame is used.
Can I compress multiple images and download them together?
Yes. Add up to 50 images in one batch. The same compression settings apply to all of them, and you can download the results together in a ZIP file.
What happens if the target file size cannot be reached?
The tool returns the smallest result it can make and shows a notice that the target was not reached. The result can therefore be larger than the size you entered.
Will compression change image dimensions or remove metadata?
Compression does not change dimensions. EXIF and GPS metadata are removed by default. JPG output keeps its color profile, and you can keep JPG EXIF by turning off Remove metadata. PNG output copies only the ICC color profile, regardless of that setting. WebP output has no metadata or color profile.
Are my images uploaded, and do I need an account?
No. Compression runs in your browser and files are not uploaded. You do not need to register, and the results do not have a watermark.
