Choose Recommended, Strong, Custom quality, or Target size. Recommended is the default at quality 75, Strong uses quality 55, and Custom quality ranges from 1% to 100%. There is no lossless mode.
For a target, choose KB or MB and enter a value from 1 to 51,200. The default is 200 KB. The tool searches quality values from 5 to 95 for the highest setting that fits. If it cannot reach the target, it returns the smallest result.

Recommended and Strong offer preset quality choices, while Custom quality lets you select a value. Target size can be useful when a website, email, or other destination sets a file limit, but the resulting file size depends on the image and the settings.
The input and output format is JPG. PNG, WebP, GIF, and HEIC are not supported, and the tool does not convert files to another format. You can turn on Progressive JPG in More options.
There is no file-size quota, but browser canvas limits are about 150 megapixels, or about 16.7 megapixels on iPhone and iPad. Processing happens in your browser, files are not uploaded, no registration is needed, and results have no watermark.
EXIF and GPS metadata are removed by default, but you can turn off Remove metadata to keep EXIF. The color profile is retained, and phone photo orientation is applied to the pixels. XMP is not kept for compressed results.
Output file names stay the same as the originals. The ZIP download is named compressed-jpg.zip.

Can I set a target JPG size in KB or MB?
Yes. Choose Target size, select KB or MB, and enter a value from 1 to 51,200. The default is 200 KB. The tool searches quality values from 5 to 95 for the highest setting that fits, measuring the file size with any kept metadata included.
Can I adjust compression quality?
Yes. Choose Custom quality to set a value from 1% to 100%. You can also use Recommended, the default at quality 75, or Strong at quality 55. The tool does not offer lossless compression.
Can I compress several JPGs at once?
Yes. Add up to 50 images in one batch. The same settings are applied to every file, and you can download all results together as a ZIP.
Will compressing change image dimensions or upload my files?
No. The image dimensions do not change, and files are processed in your browser rather than uploaded. JPG is the supported input and output format.
Can I keep metadata in the compressed JPG?
EXIF metadata, including camera, date, and GPS information, is removed by default. Turn off Remove metadata to keep the EXIF block. The color profile is always retained, and XMP is not kept.
